2 Look at al the elements that make up the NME and create the opposite magazine.
3 Build a Typical Reader Profile of an NME reader. Look at what is advertised for help. What sort of lifestyle is being? Represented through the adverts? Is there anything in the features of the magazine that might lead you to the same conclusion?
A typical reader’s profile for an NME reader would be someone who looks like this typical person portrayed in the magazine. E.g. the typical boy who read’s it will have long hair, maybe wears eyeliner, black clothes, black hair (dependable). And a girl that uses this magazine would be someone who wears black clothes, heavy eyeliner, Emo/seen haircut, and long black hair.
4 Gather information on the circulation and readership of NME, and then find magazines with similar sales figures.
